- Talked about handing in our podcast projects. Make sure you hand in a copy of your SCRIPT as well, it is a part of your grade!
- Started to watch the movie Erin Brockovich. Remember this is based on a TRUE story, and happened not all that long ago.
- What key words, concepts & points have we talked about so far in this movie? EXAMPLES: chromium, sanitary landfill, toxicity, ppm, clean up and abatement. WHAT OTHER ONES CAN YOU THINK OF?
- Remember there is a small assignment to complete at the end of this movie.

- You had LOTS of class time. Your vocabulary should be COMPLETE.
- Did a Self/Group Evaluation for our podcast projects. Wrote down, answered & handed in the following questions: 1) In 3-5 sentences describe what each memeber of your group contributed to the project. 2) On a scale of one to five, five being GREAT, how well did your group use their class time? 3) Are YOU satisfied with the final product of your project? Why or why not? 4) If you had to do this project again, what would you do differently? 5) Did your group work well together? Why or why not? 6) Would you choose the same group memebers again? - Oh Audacity, why are you such a pain of a program. Export as a WAV file NOT mp3, for some reason I can't open your mp3 files.......remember to include your NAMES in when naming the file so I know who to give the credit for the work.

- Worked on our Water for the World Projects. Are you ready to record & edit yours?
- PROJECT IS DUE MONDAY MARCH 22, 2010.
- Have you had the chance to carry a huge bucket of water around the field yet? Was it easy? Just think of the people who have to do that EVERY day for more than 30 minutes. Is access to clean water a human right?

- Read a passage from "The Sacred Balance" by David Suzuki. The first flood: how did water come to cover our Earth? Think about it, you will be completing your journal entry tomorrow.
- Did the Quick Lab on page 238. WHICH WAY DO THE WINDS BLOW? WHERE DO THE OCEAN CURRENTS CARRY THINGS? These are important things to consider when we are investigating emissions problems.
