Today in SCIENCE we:

• Handed in our title pages.
• Started our Electricity Unit!!
• Reviewed the single MOST IMPORTANT thing to remember about electricity. Do you remember what it was?
• Talked about the atom, the particles of the atom, the laws of electrical charges (who loves each other? who hates each other?), & static electricity. Do you understand these ideas?
• Watched part of a How Stuff Works video: http://videos.howstuffworks.com/hsw/20175-electricitys-attraction-all-about-electricity-video.htm
• Played with some Magnets. Magnets??? How is this related to electricity?
• Answered four questions based on our work today: 1) What is electricity? 2) What is static electricity? 3) HOW are Static Electricity & Magnetism related? Use the examples from the video & the magnets you worked with. 4) What observations did you make with your magnets?
